Why I Hate The Fort Worth Brahmas

Lately, my intense hatred for the Brahmas has boiled up again. Why you may ask? Because I loved the Fort Worth Fire and the Brahmas killed my beloved home town team.

Right after the Fire wins the Levins' Trophy in the CHL in 96-97, the Brahmas then show up, lure away the Fire's best players, pretend to be a good Hockey team just long enough to steal fans away and cause the Fire to fold 2 seasons later.

Man, I HATE those guys. They went to the WPHL Championship Series in their first season, got blanked by El Paso and have then followed it up with almost 8 seasons of last place (or almost last place) finishes. Jerks.

I would like to say I cursed the team back in '97, but I didn't. Not that it looks like it matters since it looks like they're pretty well cursed anyway.

I WANT AN APOLOGY FROM THE JERKS!!!!! It's like New Coke all over again except that we don't get the original back.

Here's a look at the season-by-season breakdown:

Currently, in the CHL's 2005-06 season, the Brahmas are.... LAST! Dead Last, worst team in the entire league. Probably ain't gonna change anytime soon.

In the meantime, if anybody knows where I can get a Fort Worth Fire jersey, let me know.
